Our Commitment for Nature
At Le Nosare, living in harmony with the environment is a conscious choice. We know that there is no other Earth or plan B, and it is our duty to take care of it through sustainable practices that reduce the environmental impact without compromising the comfort and quality of hospitality.
Clean Energy and Energy Saving
We have chosen renewable sources and smart solutions to optimize the energy consumption of our facility:
- Electrical energy: since 2010 a photovoltaic system has provided solar energy to the entire company.
- Heat Energy: a solar system heats water efficiently and sustainably.
- Condensing boilers: high performances, low emissions, maximum energy saving.
- Outdoor lighting: to reduce light pollution, we use a system of lights directed only on the roads, regulated by an astronomical clock that adapts the lighting to the solar cycles. In the external common areas, motion sensors activate the lights only in the presence of people, avoiding waste.
- Internal lighting: we use LED bulbs, which ensure low energy consumption and longer life.
- Smart management: the rooms are equipped with a key card system, which activates electricity only when the guest is present, avoiding waste when the room is not used.
Local and KM 0 Products
We are committed to ensuring freshness, quality and sustainability by reducing the environmental impact of the production chain:
- Regional and 0 km ingredients: we favor local products for breakfast, valorising the territory and promoting a more sustainable diet.
- Nothing single-dose: on the tables we use refillable glass jars instead of single-dose sugar, reducing the use of plastic and disposable materials.
- No waste: we prepare breakfast at the moment and based on the number of guests present, avoiding unnecessary food surpluses.
- Recyclable materials: we use 100% recycled paper napkins and Made in Italy placemats, both completely recyclable in paper collection.
Eco-friendly Cleaning and Reduced Consumption
We are committed to ensuring clean and comfortable environments in full respect of the environment, adopting:
- Ecological detergents: to clean environments we use exclusively 100% biodegradable products, free of harmful chemicals.
- Elimination of single-use plastic: in the rooms and public bathrooms of the campsite we have replaced disposable products with refillable dispensers, reducing plastic consumption.
- Conscious use of linen: we invite our guests to reuse towels, helping to limit water consumption and the use of detergents that are dispersed into the environment.
- Eco-friendly toilet paper: we use paper with biodegradable enzymes, which disintegrates quickly and naturally. Dermatologically tested, it guarantees safety and delicacy on the skin, combining comfort and sustainability.
- Smart air conditioning management: an app-based control system allows you to optimize the operation of your air conditioners, reducing energy waste and ensuring responsible use.
- Separate Waste Collection: commitment to separating waste to encourage recycling and reduce environmental impact. Plastic, glass, paper, organic, unsorted and used oil are collected separately in 2 Ecological Islands in the campsite, so that they can be reused or transformed into new resources.
Responsible Water Use
Water is a precious resource, and for this reason we have adopted targeted solutions to use it efficiently:
- Water saving: Water saving: all taps in accommodation, public and private bathrooms and the laundry are equipped with 7 l/minute aerators which reduce water consumption.
- Drinking water: the entire water system is equipped with a softener which reduces the presence of limescale even in the pitches' fountains.
Rainwater collection: an underground system accumulates rainwater, which is reused for watering gardens and plants. - Smart irrigation: an advanced system with a control unit and dedicated app regulates irrigation based on humidity sensors placed in the soil and the weather sensor, ensuring targeted and efficient use of water.
- Wastewater phytoremediation: at the Camper Service, a natural phytoremediation system purifies wastewater from campers thanks to the oxygenation action of the marsh reeds, making it reusable for fertigation.
Green Cared for Naturally
On our Agriturismo we take care of the greenery using natural methods, respecting the balance of the ecosystem. Thanks to these choices, Le Nosare is a place where nature grows in perfect harmony with the territory:
- Natural fertilization: we use only organic fertilizers and treatments based on mycorrhizae and live bacteria, which improve the health of the soil and nourish it without impacting the environment.
- Native plants: we have selected local species of flowers and shrubs more resistant and suitable for our climate, thus reducing the need for invasive treatments.
Pathway care: in our gravel paths we avoid the use of chemical herbicides, replacing them with 100% natural products, safe for the environment and for our guests. - Natural plant defense: to protect greenery without synthetic pesticides, we adopt the release of useful predatory insects, such as ladybugs, which ecologically combat plant parasites and preserve biodiversity.
- Ecological Insect Control: to maintain the natural balance, we use an ecological system against flies, thus avoiding the use of chemical insecticides. You will notice some yellow and green bottles hanging from the trees: they work as natural attractants.
- Mosquito Protection: protection from mosquitoes: we have adopted an automatic dosing system of natural essential oils, integrated into the irrigation system, which helps to keep the presence of mosquitoes and other insects under control in an effective, safe and sustainable way.
Sustainability in our swimming pool
The pool is designed to reduce the environmental impact thanks to an intelligent water and energy management system. Through a dedicated app, we monitor the pool remotely, optimizing consumption and guaranteeing efficiency and respect for the environment:
- Water recovery: a semi-hidden system collects rainwater and water dispersed outside the pool, reusing it for washing the filters and reducing waste.
- Automated pump management: pump operation automatically adjusts based on weather conditions and the number of guests present, avoiding energy waste.
- Programming of the systems: hydromassages and waterfalls follow pre-established times, with a stop during quiet hours (1pm-3pm) to limit consumption and guarantee guests' relaxation.
- Efficient heating: an underground storage system retains the heat of the water, limiting evaporation at night and reducing energy expenditure in the spring and autumn months.
- Ecological water treatment: we use products with low environmental impact, guaranteeing always clean and safe water in full respect of nature.
Sustainable Mobility
We promote and contribute to greener and responsible tourism:
- Charging stations: we have installed two charging points for electric cars, offering our guests the possibility of traveling more sustainably.
- Electric Golf Car: we use an electric vehicle to travel within the campsite, ensuring silent and ecological transport.
